Accreditation is a process of validation in which colleges, universities and other institutions of higher learning are evaluated. The standards for accreditation are set by a peer review board whose members include faculty from various accredited colleges and universities.

Since Bridges Graduate School is a brand new school it is and can not yet be accredited.  However, Bridges Graduate School has been granted provisional approval by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education of the State of California to operate two degree programs effective August 27, 2018, with an expiration date of August 27, 2023 subject to earlier termination.  BPPE requires that pursuant to CEC§ 94885.5(b)(3), within two years of its provisional approval, or by August 27, 2020, Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity in Education must show evidence that a completed application for initial accreditation with the required fee submitted and accepted by the accreditor.  Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity in Education must also show evidence of achieving full accreditation within five years of provisional approval or by August 27, 2023.  It is our intention to apply for and to receive full accreditation at the earliest possible dates.
